Scientist and expert, author of more than 50 scientific publications, monographs and patents awarded in the Świętokrzyski Racjonalizator competition (patent PL228228B1 won the main prize in 2018). Dr inż. M. Płaza has participated in the implementation of numerous scientific research projects, including within the framework of the ERA-NET, COST, POIG, RSI and POIR programmes. For more than 10 years, he has been in charge of the Cisco Networking Academy at the Kielce University of Technology. He has achieved Expert Instructor status in the Instructor Excellence Award programme five times. In 2017, he received a Letter of recommendation from the C++ Institue for raising the quality of the CPA-Programming Essentials in C++ course to over 9500 instructors worldwide. As part of the NetACad programme, he received prestigious awards: the 2018 “Above and Beyond Award”and the 2020 “Digitisation Specialist” award. He holds instructor qualifications at levels: CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNA CybersOps, CCNP (ROUTE, SWITCH, TSHOOT), CCNP Enterprise (Core Networking, Advanced Routing), IoT (Connecting Things, Big Data&Analytics). The collaboration of dr inż. M. Płaza with the industry resulted in the launch of a new degree specialisation in 2018: TELEINFORMATICS, whose innovative education programme has been recognised nationally by being awarded the title of “Leader in IT Business Collaboration.”
